Your visit: keeping you safe

In line with the latest government guidance, we will reopen our cinema on Tuesday 7th July. Live events will not restart at this time.

Keeping our customers and staff safe and well is our top priority, so we kindly ask you to please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our new safety procedures.

Inside the venue

  • A one-way system is in place throughout the building to meet social distancing requirements

  • Children under the age of 15 must always be accompanied by an adult

  • In line with government guidelines, you are only able to visit the venue with people from one other household. In the cinema you will be seated 1m+ apart from other groups

  • We will be taking temperature checks at the main door using a contactless thermometer. We may refuse entry if you provide a temperature reading of 38C or higher, or refuse to have your temperature taken

  • At Box Office, we will be taking your name and contact details in line with government guidelines for track and trace

  • We have added hand sanitiser stations that we ask all customers to use when entering and leaving the building

  • Customers are welcome to wear face coverings during their visit, but it is not compulsory

  • The coffee shop will only be open to those using the cinema

Ticketing

  • We advise you book online ahead of your visit for best availability and to minimise contact

  • You will still be able to purchase tickets via the phone or in person. Where possible, please use contactless or card payments, but we will accept cash if absolutely necessary

  • Once on site, your ticket will be checked visually

Seating

  • We have reduced our capacity in line with government guidelines. Seating areas are spaced with at least 1m distance from other seats

  • All seats will be allocated before customers enter the auditorium

Keeping you safe

  • The theatre has been deep cleaned ahead of reopening and on top of our current high cleaning standards, additional regular cleaning will take place covering all touch points throughout the venue

  • Toilets will only be for customers using the cinema and will be cleaned regularly

  • To enable social distancing in the toilets, there will be fewer cubicles and basins available. A maximum of three customers at a time are permitted

Physical distancing

  • We have added Perspex screens at our box office and coffee shop to keep distance between customers and staff

  • Seating in the foyer and cafe is currently unavailable, but you will be able to take your seat 30 minutes before each screening

Team safety

  • All staff are receiving ongoing comprehensive COVID-19 training

  • PPE will also be provided for our staff should they wish to wear a face covering or gloves

  • We kindly ask you to be patient with our staff as we introduce our new policies. It may take a little longer to enter the cinema or buy refreshments and we thank you in advance for your understanding
